Legendary Locales

Legendary Locales are horrible PvE areas where you must go on a Sunday for maximum crowding. The allure is loot, because experience gains are terrible. The good loot is dropped from mobs inside little single group instances at the end of the dungeon. You typically need 1 full bubble of influence to enter (sometimes 2). The influence rewards at the start of the dungeon are pretty crap.

Gunbad

This horrible place is in greenskin land somewhere, probably Badlands. None of this gear is going to last you very long so unless you are a pve masochist you would be better off giving gunbad a miss. Level range is mid-late 20s.

Bastion Stair

Stairs in Bastion Stair
Stairs in Bastion Stair

The Destruction entrance to the Bastion Stair is in the NE corner of Praag and covers ~32-40. It's actually in Chaos Wastes, but you have to either go through Praag or through a near-40 section of the Order PvE area in CW to get to it.

This place sucks too, but the drops are good (Bloodlord Armor set). Unless you are a Zealot.

Protips

Left Side Boss (Thar'Ignan)

It is not necessary to kill all the dogs. Stand on the left side by the wall and pull the dude down. If you get punted into the dogs, just run back to your group. Easy.

Right Side Boss (Lord Slaurith)

Lord Slaurith
Lord Slaurith

An exhaustive guide (with diagrams!) to killing this dude can be found here:

The boss essentially has two abilities, other than that its a 'simple' fight.
His first ability is a person based aoe attack which does 2k or so damage a tick on you. This will land on a random person in the party (including the tank!) but can be easily noticed and countered through watching his animations and moving at the right time (more on this later). Essentially all you have to do is only take one tick and move immediately when told to (again more on this later).
His other ability is an instance wide dot that does 700 damage to everyone every tick (1 second). This is triggered when the boss aggros someone outside of his melee range, this is a problem for the tank (who must stay alert with that taunt button) and the healers (who must be careful to detaunt all the time and limit aggro).

City Dungeons

WTF is a city dungeon? Drakhon wrote this on the board:

That actually reminds me about the City Dungeons .... I haven't gone very far into them, but I think they are more along the lines of what was asked about. The arena area has a dungeon with a few different level wings but I unfortunately do not know the level ranges for them.
You will get destroyed in the High City Dungeons without the Ward from the Bastion Stair or T4 RvR sets (the Ward mechanic defines progression), so you'd want to stay away from them, though.

Sentinel Armor Set

the end boss in city dungeons drops the sentinel helm and chest, epic.

Bloodwrought Enclave

This dungeon is located in the South East part of IC (East Side of Undercroft), it is a big red Khorne temple it looks just like Bastion stair inside.

Centaur Boss

Gives key for Final dude and some sentinel gear. Kill one of his minions outside the room first.

skip the right wing as there is nothing of value there. when you do the left boss, split the hero from the musician. the pathing for this encounter is buggy so you'll get all sorts of wierd agro and splits on pulls. thus mileage will vary per fight, but split the musician from the boss and submitting to gear check you will win this fight

Barakus the Godslayer

Barakus says: My pathing sucks
Barakus says: My pathing sucks

You can pull his friends through the door before you go in.

With thanks to Malpardis we were able to kill this guy quite easily. Here is his sage advice:

Okay, this fight is very melee unfriendly. My group has at least 1 sorc.
So, here's how we usually go about doing it. You know the big balcony up top, above the altar? That's where our healers/RDPS usually stand.
The main tank runs up onto the altar with Barakus. He does NOT taunt, so give him some time to gain aggro. Don't put his back to anything.
Now, the reason why the main tank shouldn't taunt: Every once in a while Barakus will suddenly zoom off and charge someone else at stupid fast speed. That's when he should save his taunt. Only the main tank need do this, the offtank shouldn't have to worry about it. Tell your main tank not to mistake that for Barakus' disable, because when the main tank recovers from the disable, Barakus will come right back to him.
The offtank can move in and out at his discretion, but his primary job is to stand by the stairs and throw Guard on the main tank if it looks like he's taking a beating. Also, tell your Chosen to use Sprout Carapace (the morale 3 that increases armor) whenever it's up, while the rest of your group switches off using defensive morale.
The reason why the offtank stands by the stairs: Occasionally you'll see Barakus slam the ground and send the main tank flying. You do NOT want to be in his way when that happens, because he just put a debuff on the entire group for approximately 5 seconds that makes it so he pretty much whacks whoever he hits for 4x damage. So, when the main tank goes flying, it's the offtank's job to taunt Barakus and kite him. The offtank runs up to about the half way mark on the stairs and jumps off onto the altar, and Barakus should follow him (Barakus, thankfully, moves at snared speed in this state).
By that time, the main tank should have gotten back into position and the debuff should have worn off. Have the main tank use Challenge (his AoE taunt) on the boss at that point, to save his regular taunt for the charges.
Rinse and repeat.

Bilerot Burrow

The bilerot Burrow is a dungeon located inside the Inevitable City. It is accessed via a tunnel gate located along the cliff face in the area near The Monolith.

Lost Vale

The Lost Vale entrance is the ship just to the west of DE12 in Avelorn. It is for 40's. The progression is actually Bastion Stair -> High City Dungeons (Bilerot Burrow and Bloodwrought Enclave) -> Lost Vale, so it's strong 40.

Dark Promise Armor Set(purp!)

all bosses in lost vale drops epics.
the west wing boss drops the boots
the east wing boss drops the shoulder
the second to last boss in middle wing drops helm
the last, end boss from the middle drops the chest(havent killed her, but safe to assume)
all the rest. 3 in west, 4 in east, 2 in middle, drop gloves and belt.
the belt is boe, everything else drops in there is bop.

Scenarios

Maw of Madness

This one is pretty cool. Run down the hill & smash faces. Whoever smashes the most (Destro) wins! Order doesn't play this because they are not very good, unless they are trying to flip Chaos Wastes.

Reikland Factory

This Scenario was temporarily introduced as part of the Heavy Metal live event. It features a zone control mechanic, much like the Praag scenario. The factory is worth more points on capture but the outside areas are worth more over time.

There is an dev diary about the creation of the scenario up here

Serpent's Passage

Typical Scene in Serpent's Passage
Typical Scene in Serpent's Passage

Horrible overall brownness of zone, and nasty locals earn Serpent's Passage the distinction of Worst Virtual Beach (even worse than that one SecondLife with all the furries. You know the one!).

This is the only scenario anyone ever plays. The serpent is a Bright Wizard's staff, and the passage is your bum. This scenario is very good for Bright Wizards because there are no line of sight issues.

The Kill & Participate quests are found in Dragonwake. If you are going to have to play this scenario (and you are going to have to play this scenario) then you might as well get xp. God knows this place is going to make a lot of 40s quit.
